I would reccomend a stanley carpenters knife for the score and snap technique. The exactoknife is more suited for small detailing I think.
Read some threads on other builds from the same kit before you start to get a feel for the kit and the challenges that comes with it.

The helmet is 2 gen TPE wich is a maker who I got wind of just recently, but I have seen a bucket upclose and it looks good.

I actually managed to drom an mlc chestbox onto a concrete floor once, the box stayed whole, but buttons went flying all over the place. The method used to attach the box to the armour is my main concern. Abs is very lightweight, something you will find usefull when you start putting in a soundsyste...

It Is a gamble to get It past customs. Everything above lets say 30 dollars get an import tax pluss a 25% sales tax.
