Well if you want a screen accurate costume use chicago screws, they are easy to find and make the armor look really nice.

Re: Reshaping ABS.
Hey how did you get on?
The sides of my armor stuck out a bit but I havent reshaped them. I connected mine using chicago screws ~ they do the job plus they look good. I think im going use a snap on kit for the sides.
Would a hair dryer work?

Re: Help with hose connection
Its the chest box thats the problem. The hole is wider and the hose wobbles about very lose when secured with a pin. Needs more to keep it stable.

Help with hose connection
Hey all, I have used a crude method of attaching my hoses to the helmet and chest box but there is too much movement and its not ideal. The hoses are very flexible, just wondering what the easiest method would be? I have also bought wire coat hangers to feed through the hose to keep a nice curve lik...

Re: Rubber trim-screen acurate!?!!
Ok what do you think the trim just for the neck bit or the whole thing? lol
I'm not sure whether to just put it on front and back top part (neck) or the whole thing..

Re: Rubber trim-screen acurate!?!!
I'm guessing the rubber trim for the armor goes all the way round the chest plates? I'll need to cut and glue probably.

Re: Rubber trim-screen acurate!?!!
Well I had been studying the rubber trim since no one seems to know what type to get. I went ahead and got U46 for the armor, as it does not look like the same used with the helmet us U channel and not squared. I also went ahead and got US52 for the helmet, its the squared trim and looks like the sa...

I'm getting the trim for my helmet from the place in England, does anyone know what is used for the chest armor? It looks circularly curved not square like the trim used for the helmet and smaller?

Re: Rubber trim-screen acurate!?!!
I know the square was used for the helmets as i have used it for my ROTJ stormtrooper helmet though it looks like the U shaped trim was used for the armor? I'm looking to get it for the armor too.

US52 looks squared, weren't the ones they used in the movie a U shape?
